Embodied Prayer: Reconnecting Our Whole Selves To God with Amy Boucher Pye and Kristen Rubow
Neuroscience now tells us what God has always known – as embodied beings we encounter God through our through our soul, spirit, mind and body. Join Amy Boucher Pye (retreat leader and spiritual director) and Kristen Rubow (mind and movement coach) to explore in two online retreats how God helps us to connect our hearts and heads with our bodies. We’ll incorporate gentle movements in each retreat and work within the limitations of our individual bodies. The retreats link to each other, but you can join one or both from the comfort of your home.
Returning Home
26 September 2026, UK: 3–6pm; US Mountain time: 8–11am (find your time zone)
God breathed life into us—his very breath within us giving us life. But when our first parents turned from God, our lives became disconnected and fragmented. Yet God calls us to return home to him and to ourselves. As we engage with these overarching themes from the Bible, we’ll explore how God made our brains and bodies dynamic and changeable. God will help us to reconnect what was broken.
